Welcome to the Saisons Web site. Our aim is to provide you with reasonably priced narrowboats which you can hire for a 1/2 day trip up to a six week holiday!

Saisons was originally started in 1990 by Richard and Lesley Saillet when they decided to hire out their first boat ‘Claret’. Over the years since then they have developed a small fleet of interesting and attractive boats. For several years they hired boats as Coronet Canal Carrying Company, a company name previously used on the old working boat they operated. Following the sale of that boat, the name Saisons was re-introduced as many people still associated this name with good value, interesting hire boats.

The business is now run as part of the Canal Shop at Whilton Locks allowing us to use the latest and best equipment available on the boats, which are now all tug-style narrowboats.
